A training evaluation decides whether a dog holds a level of Manalo K9 University. The trainer scores every item of the level, and the points add up to 100.

Scoring

Pass mark
A dog passes a level with 75 of 100 points or more. Every level uses the same pass mark.
Grades
The score puts the result in one grade. A passing grade comes with a certificate on the dog's IAGD profile, with the grade and the score.
| Grade | Score | Certificate |
|---|---|---|
| Distinction | 90 to 100 | Yes |
| Merit | 85 to 89 | Yes |
| Pass | 75 to 84 | Yes |
| Not Yet Certified | 0 to 74 | No |
Automatic failure
These events end the evaluation without a certificate, whatever the score.
On every track
- Unprovoked aggression toward people
- Dangerous aggression toward dogs
- Extreme fear preventing evaluation
- Repeated escape attempts
- Unsafe handling risk
- Failure to complete the assessment

When a dog does not pass
The owner sees the score of every item, and the dog can take the level again.
